I use a combination of models when working with addiction, including the 12 Step model, Attachment theory and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MBCBT). As well as considering each individual’s best way forward.

This is an effective way of working towards a better way of life free from compulsive and obsessive patterns with all addictions, including substance and process addictions such as alcohol, drugs, compulsive overeating, anorexia, gambling, sex, shopping, body dysmorphobia and more.
